How freely can you organize your time as a father / mother AND employee? 🫣

I cannot have a separate life as a father and employee or leader! Both is part of my life and both creates energy for me. My family life gives me energy for my work and my work gives me energy for my family life. 🔥
From a company perspective I think it’s a cultural thing. How behaves the CEO? Do other leaders have children? How do people handle their family and work life? 🤔
If people hides their family life, stress and organization or colleagues are looking at you if you have to go early to catch your son from Kindergarten, it’s a cultural problem and not an individual problem! 😬
The first thing that I heard from Steffen Behn, when I joined celebrate was that he has to take of his sick daughter. The second thing I saw from celebrate company colleagues was that they had blockers in their calendars to have playtime with the kids or have to catch kids from school or kindergarten! 🤩
That motivates me and that shows me that there are companies who take this important part of life seriously! 👍
So I decided to follow that and after bringing my son to the kindergarten, I drive to the office and leave early to catch my son again. After that I can have playtime or will work from home again. A big plus: My wife has some more hours for herself 😊
