12 weeks in my new job! Good point to have a look back …

This year I decided to change the company I work for to have more time with my family and reduce the time commuting to work. 🚆

In my previous job I traveled a lot between my home town and Berlin. That was okay, but of course it was a trade off with my family life. 👨‍👩‍👦

Now I work 100% remote with the option to be in the celebrate company Hamburg office. During the last 12 weeks I visited the office almost every week! I was able to combine it bringing my son to the kindergarten. 🤩 In addition I visited my Rosemood colleagues in France.

This type of freedom works much better for me! I am not forced to go to the office, but have the option to do it 👍

In the first 12 weeks I had the following 5 goals 👇

1. Get to know every member of my team, set up reporting lines and team structure.

2. Get a first feeling of improvement opportunities in my department.

3. Synch with the CEO about my understanding of product management and the expectations about the next year.

4. Identify partners in crime and key stakeholders to work with and start building relationships.

5. Make the first impact as a product leader.

Even though I still have some more things to do, I achieved progress in all of them. That’s important to me! 🤨 Why?

The faster I get a connection to the team, clarify the work related, critical questions and get in synch with the CEO and my colleagues, the faster I can bring value to my team and company! 💎

As a leader I have to find out for myself what’s necessary to make impact and if I can make impact in existing structures.

Never forget that’s it’s also a decision if YOU want to stay in a company or not. Too many people believe that only the company must decide if you fit or not, but that’s wrong. 🫵

At celebrate company I have the feeling that I can make an impact in the upcoming months and years. I will be able to create value for the people I work with, for our customers and business. Of course it’s a lot of work, but that was expected! Life would be boring for me without big challenges. 🚀

This post highlights how people often reflect on their first few months in a new job and realize how much learning happens in a short time. I think experience like this helps build confidence and better understanding of work culture. I recently came across auto insurance hurst tx near me while organizing my budget, and it reminded me how important it is to compare options carefully in both career and financial decisions for better long-term stability.

Looking back after twelve weeks in a new role often brings an interesting realization. Every week introduces fresh experiences unexpected challenges and valuable lessons that slowly build confidence. At first many situations may seem unfamiliar but with patience and continuous learning even complex tasks become much easier to understand. This process of gaining knowledge step by step is something that applies far beyond the workplace.

Interestingly the same mindset is valuable when it comes to personal health. Many people expect immediate answers whenever they notice something unusual yet understanding the body usually requires careful observation and guidance from trained professionals. Rather than depending only on online information learning about different branches of medicine helps people make informed decisions and reduces…
