12 weeks in my new job! Good point to have a look back …

This year I decided to change the company I work for to have more time with my family and reduce the time commuting to work. 🚆
In my previous job I traveled a lot between my home town and Berlin. That was okay, but of course it was a trade off with my family life. 👨👩👦
Now I work 100% remote with the option to be in the celebrate company Hamburg office. During the last 12 weeks I visited the office almost every week! I was able to combine it bringing my son to the kindergarten. 🤩 In addition I visited my Rosemood colleagues in France.
This type of freedom works much better for me! I am not forced to go to the office, but have the option to do it 👍

In the first 12 weeks I had the following 5 goals 👇
1. Get to know every member of my team, set up reporting lines and team structure.
2. Get a first feeling of improvement opportunities in my department.
3. Synch with the CEO about my understanding of product management and the expectations about the next year.
4. Identify partners in crime and key stakeholders to work with and start building relationships.
5. Make the first impact as a product leader.
Even though I still have some more things to do, I achieved progress in all of them. That’s important to me! 🤨 Why?
The faster I get a connection to the team, clarify the work related, critical questions and get in synch with the CEO and my colleagues, the faster I can bring value to my team and company! 💎
As a leader I have to find out for myself what’s necessary to make impact and if I can make impact in existing structures.
Never forget that’s it’s also a decision if YOU want to stay in a company or not. Too many people believe that only the company must decide if you fit or not, but that’s wrong. 🫵
At celebrate company I have the feeling that I can make an impact in the upcoming months and years. I will be able to create value for the people I work with, for our customers and business. Of course it’s a lot of work, but that was expected! Life would be boring for me without big challenges. 🚀

Great reflection—this really captures what a healthy transition into a new role should look like. The clarity around your goals, especially building relationships and aligning early with leadership, stands out. It’s also refreshing to see the emphasis on personal choice and fit, not just performance. The balance you’ve found with remote work and family time clearly supports both productivity and well-being.
Your approach to identifying impact areas early on mirrors how successful teams operate in tech environments too—where structured thinking and adaptability drive results. In many ways, this is similar to how custom web Development Services focus on understanding user needs, aligning with business goals, and delivering meaningful outcomes through collaboration and continuous improvement.
Really interesting reflection on your first 12 weeks in a new job. It’s always inspiring to see how people grow and adapt during the early stages of a new role. I especially liked the way you highlighted both challenges and achievements, as it feels very relatable for anyone starting fresh in their career.
From my own experience, the first few months in any job are all about learning, adjusting, and building confidence step by step. Your post is a good reminder that progress takes time and consistency.
On a related note, I’ve also been exploring different work opportunities recently, including Accepting work in Rangsit (รับงานรังสิต). It’s interesting to see how location-based opportunities can open up different career paths and experiences.
Thanks…
