we are Jennifer, Ulrich and Sebastian - together with our great team we want to add further chapters to the success story of kartenmacherei.

In 2019, we succeeded founders Jennifer and Christoph Behn, who developed the company from a one-man show to market leadership in just eight years.

As part of the celebrate company, we have the entire value chain under one roof. We live a unique New Work culture and love the exchange with the great people in the celebrate universe.

The history of kartenmacherei

How it all started ...

"We can do better!" - Jennifer Behn's idea of designing her own stylish birth cards is the starting point for card making in 2010. Christoph and Jennie have just become parents of their first son Anton and want to share the good news with their family and friends. But none of the existing providers meet their design and quality requirements. As the son of an entrepreneur, Christoph takes the initiative and establishes card making. A year later, the young company moves from the family's top floor to its first office on Lake Ammersee in Bavaria.
